"Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossian 3:17 AMP It is very interesting how "life" gets in the way. Have you ever noticed that? When we have determined to put all of our efforts into doing the work of the Gospel.... here it comes... a distraction. A problem. A situation. Anything that can and will consume all of our time.
Our focus on Heavenly Father fades. Sharing the Gospel to a lost world melts to our own pressing situations. We are just too busy fixing our life to focus anywhere else...if even for a few moments. It seems like there is a plan put in place by the enemy to do just that... distract. Distract to the point that we fix our "stuff" and forget Heavenly Father's "stuff".
I believe you're like me... tired of my "stuff". I want His approval. I want His plan. I want His eye. I don't want to be distracted. I want to be committed. Committed to the life He has for me. I believe you feel the same way.
My new book deals with this issue as well as other issues of the divine life. I am doing a soft launch now on the book and will move into a regular launch down the road. Here's a link to the book if you want to check it out. It will definitely help us not be so distracted.
